Mindfulness is a quality of awareness that allows us to be more present for ourselves, others and the moments of our lives. It is an innate and trainable quality of mind.

Mindfulness is also an evidence-based practice for experiencing life and work with more ease, effectiveness and sustained well-being.

About Brenda

Brenda Fingold has been teaching mindfulness and well-being strategies for two decades. She is a Certified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Teacher and has directed workplace and Leadership education programs at the Mindfulness Centers at the Brown University School of Public Health and the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Previously, she spent 17 years at the Boston law firm of Hale and Dorr (now Wilmerhale), where she was a litigator and the partner responsible for training and professional development.

Brenda’s work in the fast-paced and demanding world of a large professional services firm coupled with her equal years of immersion in the science and practice of mindfulness give her a unique breadth and depth of wisdom and experience to guide individuals in integrating mindfulness into their work and lives.

“I didn’t really know what to expect from the program when I signed up, but couldn’t have been happier with Brenda as our instructor. I think I was concerned that it might be a little more “hippy-dippy” than I’m used to, but Brenda’s knowledge of the science behind mindfulness, eagerness and ability to answer questions, and her personal understanding of working in a corporate setting made her a compelling and relatable instructor.”
